Benefits for Patient and Doctor
In the past, Dr. Calobrace and Dr. Mizuguchi have worked with engineers and software experts in Silicon Valley, California, to create a tool that would fill a communication gap between surgeon and patient during consultations. A visual communication aid, VECTRA 3-D not only helps patients make informed decisions about their surgery, but also helps the surgeon clearly understand the patient's desired results.
Ideally suited for breast augmentation patients, VECTRA 3-D is also applicable to breast reconstruction as well as face and body procedures. The sophisticated system takes into account each patient's unique characteristics and brings to light any existing asymmetries of the body that may affect the result. VECTRA 3-D helps plastic surgery patients feel good about their decisions to have surgery, choices of breast implants, and post-operative results.CaloSpa Rejuvenation Center
Visualize Your Breast Implant Options
With VECTRA 3-D, our goal is to help you understand your breast implant choices and visualize possible final results. You can choose from over 350 unique breast implants and try them on with the VECTRA system. Your surgeon will narrow down the choices that will best fit your anatomy. The VECTRA images allow you to see yourself from many angles, which will enable you to clearly visualize your possible results. In addition, we can compare different sizes or styles of implants in side-by-side images.
Simplify Surgical Planning
In the process of capturing a 3-D image, we are also able to attain information on your existing measurements. This means that all of the dimensions that your plastic surgeon will require for your surgical planning are recorded at once. We will review this information with you to assure that you are aware of existing asymmetries on your body. All of us are different in some way from the right side of our body to the left. Knowing this prior to surgery will allow us to determine any adjustments in the procedure but more importantly to more clearly communicate with you about what you may look like after the surgery.
