Improvements From Fraxel Treatments
Fraxel re:pair treatments may be used on the face, as well as delicate areas such as the neck, chest, hands, and around the eyes. Fraxel has FDA clearances for the following skin conditions:
- Wrinkles and fine lines
- Age spots/sunspots
- Discoloration and uneven pigmentation
- Sun-induced redness
- Irregular texture
- Acne scars and surgical scars
- Melasma (mask of pregnancy)
- Actinic keratoses (precancerous lesions)
For non-invasive skin tightening, consider our ThermiRF™ treatments.
How It Works
Fraxel is a safe, non-invasive, laser skin treatment that is the pioneer of fractional photothermolysis. This technology uses thousands of microscopic laser columns – each just one-tenth the diameter of a hair follicle – to treat a fraction of the skin at a time without affecting surrounding areas. These laser columns stimulate the production of new, smoother, healthier skin to renew your skin's texture and appearance.
About Fraxel Treatments
Most people attain the results they want with just one Fraxel re:pair treatment, but it can be tailored to each patient's unique skin care needs and available recovery time. No matter what your situation is, Fraxel re:pair can produce remarkable results without the prolonged recovery time and complications of other procedures.CaloSpa Rejuvenation Center
What to Expect During Recovery
After your Fraxel re:pair treatment, the skin will look red for approximately 1 to 3 days. Follow your post-treatment instructions carefully, wear sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher whenever heading outdoors, avoid direct sun exposure for at least 3 months after your last treatment, and wear a wide-brimmed hat when you're in the sun.
Return to Work
If you have deep, severe sun damage, we may treat the skin more aggressively, which can mean up to a week of social downtime.
